The first edition of BWS Challenge has ended with NoA defeating XLBet.ATS in the grand final.

The Danish top was set to fight for the trophy at BWS Challenge. Sunde was not able to attend the event, which made the rest of the mTw guys pick up anizz from wooSai and go to the event under the tag of NoA. The strongest contender to the trophy was the team of XLBet.ATS with likes of ArcadioN and Friis. The two faced each other in the upperbracket final, where NoA pulled out a 2:0 victory. With a win against SoA in the Consolidation Final, XLBet.ATS had one more try against NoA.

In the final, NoA had to win 1 x BO3, while XLBet.ATS had to win 2 x BO3. The second BO3 did however not get to be used, as NoA pulled off a 2:1 victory.

Broken tag

This could be hint of the current shape on the XLBet.ATS team. Next task will be at the Danish WCG Qualifier next weekend, where the team must be expected to reach the final and play mTw for the WCG spot.

Final Standings

1. DenmarkNoA – 20.000 DKK (~2685€)
2. DenmarkXLBet.ATS – 7.500 DKK (~1006€)
3. DenmarkSpirit of Amiga – 2.500 DKK (~335€)

This sums up the first BWS Challenge. The organizers have stated that they will be back next year with another edition of BWS Challenge. Drop by our coverage section for results and demos (coming) from the entire tournament.
